Winter Storm Update courtesy of Commissioner Siegel

Because of the snow storm, Thursday's trash and recycling collection (for January 27, 2011) is canceled. Regular trash collection will resume on Monday, January 31, 2011; recycling will next be collected on Thursday, February 3, 2011, along with regular trash collection.

The Township also reminds residents that, when possible, please park your vehicles in your driveway so that the snow plows can clear as much of each street as possible. Also, do not drive during the storm unless absolutely necessary.

Please also remember that it is a violation of the Township's ordinances for any property owner or his or her contractor, agent or employee to shovel, plow, discharge or otherwise place snow removed from a private property into any street, roadway, sidewalk or alley within the Township.

Finally, please be patient. Snow removal crews are working as quickly as possible to clear the roadways. Thanks for your cooperation!
