No Billboards

Springfield Zoning Board Hearing
RE: Billboards
Thursday
July 29th
(NOTE Date Change)
7:30 pm
Springfield Township Building
Powell Road,Springfield

Hearty attendance from all residents in all five communities shows our united opposition and supports our commissioners. Residents are strongly encouraged to attend these hearings and express your opinion of the proposed billboards.

EVERY VOICE COUNTS

Those residents in close proximity of the proposed sites are especially important to defending our community. Pictures and approximate distance from the proposed sites and how these signs could/will impact our quality of life, health, welfare and safety are extremely helpful.

If you are shy about public speaking, you will only be supported by your fellow residents.

Article in Springfield Press about the last hearing:

It is also important to note that MANY other communities in Pennsylvania are grappling with this issue. For example, take a look what recently happened in a small town of Forty Fort, right outside Wilkesbarre:

Haverford's next Zoning Board hearing is scheduled for August 19th, @ 8:00pm following other zoning issues, at the Haverford Township Building on Darby Road.

What can you do??

Keep Contacting the property owners and elected officials, attend the hearings!
