Local Government Committee Hearing
RE: Billboard Control in PA
Representative Bill Adolph
(Marple & Springfield)
HB Bill 2085
Representative Bernie O’Neill
(Southampton)
HB 1237
WHAT TO EXPECT?
The Committee will hear from the Representatives, key witnesses, experts and Committee members will have the opportunity to ask questions. This Committee will, ultimately, say “YEA” or “NAY” to whether this legislation goes any further. Private residents will most likely NOT be given a chance to address the Committee, but a hearty audience will:
Provide motivation for the congressmen to “sell” their legislation to the Committee
Make an impression on the Committee that a groundswell of constituents are “mad as hell and not going to take it anymore” with no intention of “going away”!
Utilize this rare opportunity to carry our message to people whose opinions can make a difference.
PLAN OF ASSEMBLY:
Please meet between 9:00 and 9:15 @ Strawberry Square Mall Food Court
Park at the indoor parking garage to the Strawberry Square mall located on 4th street (Cash Only!)
Take the elevator to level 1
Take the escalator towards level 2, Food Court
Assemble at the tables and chairs off to the right
All depart to the Ryan Building (right next to Main Capitol Bldg), no later than 9:15am
**If you arrive late or park elsewhere, come up the wide front steps, the Ryan is to the right, room #205 is on the second floor.
We can organize rides if you would like to attend but do not have transportation.
It's important that we know how big a crowd we can expect
