this Thursday night October 22, 2009 at Lynnewood Elementary School,
1400 Lawrence Road, Havertown, PA 19083, at 7:30 pm between the 4th Ward, 6th Ward and 8th Ward candidates for Commissioner.

The forum will be moderated by Katherine Miller from the League Of Women Voters.

The Haverford Township Historical Society invites you to its annual fundraiser on Thursday, October 8th, which will be hosting an Oktoberfest-style event at Nitre Hall featuring live music, beers from Victory Brewing Co. and a silent auction of items donated by local businesses and individuals. The proceeds from this event fund the Heritage Festival held along Karakung Drive in June.

Cost is $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

The Philadelphia Inquirer will be there, so we REALLY need a big crowd, please try to make it if only for a little bit.
